LOVE was in the air for one lucky Valentine’s Day shopper in Darlington’s Cormill centre, when they won a two-night break in Paris.
Lucky red roses, each one with a raffle ticket stapled to it, were handed out to female shoppers in the centre on Friday, by a Charlie Chaplin lookalike.
Centre manager Susan Young said: “Here at the Cornmill we always aim to give customers something a bit different to mark special occasions and this Valentine’s Day is no exception.
“In the past we’ve presented shoppers with luxury spa weekends and stunning Swarovski jewellery and this year we’ve teamed up with Hays Travel to offer one lucky shopper the ultimate romantic prize – a fantastic trip to Paris, the city of love.”
