Police are asking residents to keep their eyes peeled for rogue collectors stealing charity bags left on doorsteps.
In the last fortnight numerous bags intended for charities have been stolen from neighbourhoods across Darlington and police are urging residents who see anything suspicious to contact them on 101.
CRIME CONCERNS: An online Police and Communities Together (Pact) meeting will take place for North Road and Haughton residents tomorrow (Thursday, February 13).
Residents can visit the Darlington Neighbourhood Police Team facebook page from 5pm to take part.
INFORMATION EVENT: A Neighbourhood Watch roadshow will visit Central House on Gladstone Street in Darlington tomorrow (Thursday, February 12) between noon and 2pm.
Visitors will be able to learn more about the association and sign up to the Darlington scheme.
