THOSE interested in the ongoing restoration of an iconic 1930s building have been invited to tour the site.
A limited amount of people have been offered the opportunity to get a glimpse of the work going on in the former Majestic cinema in Darlington.
North-East property developer Devlin Hunter is behind the refurbishment of the building and hopes to restore it to its art-deco glory.
The project will see the building – which first opened in 1932 – transformed into a multi-purpose leisure facility capable of hosting functions, live music and private parties.
The doors to the building will open on Sunday, February 16 to allow visitors to enjoy a guided tour, arranged by members of Facebook group The Majestic, the future.
For more information and to book a place on the tour, visit facebook.com and join the group.
