THE chairman of the Rotary Club of Darlington has presented the club's trophy for Darlington College's Most Enterprising Student of the Year award.
Winner Clint Cullen was picked ahead of six other students from the college.
Mr Cullen, of Fishburn, near Sedgefield, was handed an engraved glass award and a cheque for £100.
The 37-year-old, who works for the Chilton company, Hydram Engineering, completed a two-year day release HNC course in Health and Safety, studying safe practice in the area of hand and arm vibration risk.
At a separate Rotary event, member Derek Risbey dressed up as a snowman for the club's annual carol concert at the Abbeyfields and Greencroft residential housing units.
More than 20 Rotarians, led by Alan Cowie, entertained the residents with a selection of traditional favourites.
