LUCKY shopper Rosalind Blake won a hamper worth £500 in Darlington market's Christmas raffle yesterday.
Mrs Blake, who lives in Lodge Street, Darlington, said she was delighted at winning the prize, donated by the Town Centre Christmas Campaign.
The hamper, which contained a range of seasonal produce, was presented to Mrs Blake by Darlington Borough Council's deputy mayor Councillor Marian Swift.
Hundreds of raffle tickets were sold to shoppers in Darlington's covered market in the run-up to Christmas.
