A DANCE teacher has congratulated her pupils for their success in recent examinations.

Pupils of the Joanne Lowe School of Dance, based at the Engineers Workingmen's Club in Northgate, Darlington, took part in the International Dance Teachers' Association freestyle exams.

They are due to be presented with their awards this evening.

Ms Lowe said: "I'd like to congratulate all of my pupils for achieving excellent results for their dance exams, and to keep up the good work."

Results - Bronze: Reanna Adams, Matthew Bearpark, Darcy Eyles, Chloe Hauxwell, Natalia Levey, Reanne Smith, Commended. Shannon Adams, Katie Clavert, Lauren Calvert, Emma Durham, Gemma Liddle, Abbey Metcalfe, Natasha Ryan, Sarah-Louise Smith, Nicola Wilkinson, highly commended.
