DISABLED people in Darlington have had their say on the future of the town's services for them.
More than 120 members of the public attended a Dreams, Hopes and Wishes workshop run by Darlington Primary Care Trust (PCT) and the borough council.
A report giving feedback from the session will be produced to help improve services.
Co-chairman of Darlington Learning Disabilities Partnership Board, Martin Smith, said: "This is about improving life for all of us. If we don't let people know what makes us happy and unhappy then things won't change."
Hundreds of people in the town have severe learning and physical disabilities.
Jane Breheny, council assistant director of adult health and social care, said: "We want to make services better in Darlington and make sure it is a great place to live for everyone."
Darlington PCT's assistant director of public health, Paul Davison, said: "We were absolutely thrilled that so many people turned up to the workshop events and that they want to get involved in planning future services.
"The feedback we have received so far has been extremely useful."
