RAIL TALES: Darlington’s forgotten branch lines, an exhibition curated by the North Eastern Railway Association will be on display at Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum, in North Road, for the rest of June. The branch lines will also be the subject of the Friends of the Museum late lectures, led by David Corfield and Robin Coulthard, tomorrow (Thursday, June 6) at 7.15pm.
KIDS’ CRICKET: Darlington Railway Athletic Cricket Club hosts a coaching session aimed at boys and girls aged between five and 11-years-old each Saturday between 6pm and 8pm. Entry is £4 per child.
FITNESS SESSION: Get Everybody Motivated, a low level physical activity session for adults who need help to get fit, will take place at Clifton Road Community Centre, in Darlington, on Friday, June 7, at 10am. Entry is £2.50. Over 16s only.
ART CLASS: Creative drawing with Deidre McCrimmon, a day-long workshop to encourage confidence and ability in your drawing skills, will take place at The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts, in Yarm Road, Darlington, on Saturday, June 8, between 10am and 3pm.
