TWO youths are being sought after hundreds of pounds of damage was caused to a large shop sign.
About £500 of damage was caused to the B&Q sign at the junction of Whessoe Road and North Road in Darlington on Tuesday May 28.
Police believe two teenagers spotted sitting close to the sign may have been responsible for the vandalism.
The suspects are described as being aged between 14 and 15. One was of proportionate build, around 5ft8 with short brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a red Adidas hoody with white stripes down the arms and a white motif on the front.
The second suspect is described as slim, around 5ft3 with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue or purple dogtooth patterned “skater type” hoody with blue jeans.
Police would like to speak to the suspects or to anyone who could help them with their inquiries.
