ROCK NIGHT: The Travellers Rest in Cockerton will launch a monthly rock night on Friday, May 31. The first event will feature a performance by North-East band The Whole Hog, who cover music by bands including Led Zeppelin and The Who. Tickets are £6 and are available in advance from the venue or on the door from 8pm.
ART EXHIBITION: An exhibition by Darlington-based artist Paul Dillon will be held at the Art Gallery on Crown Street from Friday, June 7 until Friday, August 2. The Forest Light 2 exhibition showcases watercolour and oil paintings and is inspired by the landscape, trees, woods and light.
