BUTTERWICK Children’s Hospice has benefitted from a dance extravaganza that raised more than £1,000.
Almost 200 members of the Tiffany School of Dance in Branksome Terrace took part in a biannual show at Darlington Civic Theatre which attracted an audience of 900 over two performances.
A raffle was held at the shows and £1,000 went to the Hospice, with more money still to be collected which will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
Dance school principal Rachael Tiffany said the shows had been a huge success and thanked all the parents who helped behind the scenes and everybody who contributed to the raffle.
