TWO top riders dazzled schoolchildren with their cycling skills to give the youngsters an entertaining break from their exams.
The Federation of Abbey Schools had a surprise visit from Danny Butler - a British trials champion who has been ranked fifth in the world- and Joe Oakley who has competed in World Championships and is a Britain's Got Talent finalist.
The dynamic pair was invited in by headteacher George Ford to give year six pupils an enjoyable break from their SATs.
Mr Ford said: "This was a great treat for the children - they deserved it after all their efforts."
Kevin Kilcullen, an award-winning Local Motion cycling officer, works closely with the school and helped organise the event as part of the drive to encourage pupils to cycle to school.
