A NUMBER of cars were damaged in a spate of vandalism in Darlington at the weekend.
A sharp, bladed instrument was used to scratch four cars parked in the town centre on Saturday, May 19.
A red Audi A3 and a black Ford Focus were targeted in the town’s market place and two others - a Peugeot 307 and another Ford Focus - were vandalised in the Bell’s Place car park at some point after 7.30pm.
Police are now investigating the incidents. Anyone with information or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the areas concerned should contact DC 2641 Zoe Malone of Darlington Police on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
