STAFF at a Darlington travel agent have thanked customers after a charity appeal for Easter Eggs saw hundreds of donations.
Co-op Travel, based inside Morrisons, on North Road, collect Easter eggs each year for St Teresa’s Hospice and for children in the care of social services in Darlington, who might otherwise go without.
More than 300 Easter eggs were donated in recent weeks, the highest number ever collected by the store.
Customer services manager Natalie Bell said: “We have to say a big thank you to everyone who donated. Yet again it’s been an amazing response.
“I’d also like to say thank you to Gilly’s Cakes, who made us a huge decorated Easter egg that will go into the St Teresa’s raffle.”
