BRIGHTENED UP: A community centre has received a makeover thanks to a donation from Dulux and the efforts of local residents. Red Hall Community Centre on Headingley Crescent won a paint donation from Dulux after being nominated for its Let’s Colour Project by Groundwork. Local volunteers got stuck into repainting the interior of the building, using colours suggested by children who use the centre.
CHARITY: A Northern Soul fundraising evening at the Dolphin Centre has raised over £2,200 for MacMillan Cancer Support. Around 280 attended the event on March 15 which included a raffle with many prizes being donated by Darlington businesses.
