A BARBER’S on Brinkburn Road, Darlington, is donating £1 to Help for Heroes for every haircut done in the shop next week.
Joanna Robertson, owner of Majors Barber Shop, said she was inspired to raise money for the charity after getting to know many of her customers who had joined the army.
RACE NIGHT: Age UK Darlington is holding a fundraising Race Night on Saturday, April 27 at Bradbury House in Beaumont Street West.
It starts at 7.30pm, admission is £2 including nibbles and guests are invited to bring their own drinks.
