A DARLINGTON hair salon won a major award at a prestigious ceremony.
Hobson & Holmes were named the Hair Salon of the Year North East at the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2013, held earlier this month.
The national awards are based on public nominations and celebrate the most talented hair and beauty professionals in the country.
Nicholas Holmes, Hobson and Holmes' director, said: “The success is down to our location and ambience of the salon, great staff and the training they receive. All my staff are friendly and approachable whilst maintaining their professionalism at all times.
“I am now the national colour trainer for the colour supplier Goldwell and through that work I get access to unlimited teaching resources and ideas which I can pass onto my staff as soon as new techniques and collections are released. This keeps my staff at the forefront of fashion and trend.”
