A POLICE and Communities Together (Pact) meeting for Polish residents living in Darlington will be held on Tuesday, March 26. The event will start at 6pm at The Forum, in Borough Road, and residents are invited to discuss crime and antisocial behaviour in the town with a local beat officer. A police spokesperson said: “This is an open meeting, so even if you are not a member of the Polish community, but would be interested in attending, you would be very welcome.” For more information on Pact meetings, visit durham.police.uk
JIGSAW SWAP: The Heighington Jigsaw Lending Library will meet on Thursday, March 28 from 2pm to 4pm. Members old and new are welcome at the village hall.
ANNIVERSARY EVENT: The Growing Older Living in Darlington (Gold) group are celebrating their 11th anniversary at St Cuthbert’s Church tomorrow (Monday, March 25). A number of guests will be speaking at the event, which runs from 2pm to 4pm and nibbles will be available.
WARD MEET: The next ward surgery for the Hummersknott area of Darlington will be held tomorrow (Monday, March 25) at Carmel College, from 6pm to 7pm.
