YOUNG singers are warming up their vocal chords for an afternoon of music in aid of charity.
Singing coach Viveca Bradshaw is organising the event, which will feature more than 40 singers.
It will be held at the Forum Music Centre, in Borough Road, Darlington, on Sunday, December 23.
It will be the fourth such event she has organized, with more than £10,000 raised to date.
This year, the charity to benefit will be Age UK Darlington, with all funds raised expected to go towards the refurbishment of a room for stroke patients.
The event starts with a buffet lunch, from 1pm, with singing by younger children from 2pm to 4.30pm, before a break for a raffle and mini auction.
A buffet dinner will be served from 6pm, with singing by older children starting at 7pm.
More than 150 tickets have been sold for the event, with raffle prizes donated by a range of Darlington shops.
