FASHIONISTAS indulged themselves in a night of fabulous frocks and vintage glamour at a charity fashion show.

The event saw more than 150 glamorous fundraisers fill The Grange bar, in Darlington, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Guests were treated to a catwalk of clothing from vintage clothing store, Dolly Mama Boutique, as well as a dance performance and the chance to bid for a dress work by X-Factor contestant and Middlesbrough girl, Amelia Lily.

Organiser Anna Caygill, founder of Dolly Mama Boutique, said: “It was absolutely fantastic, the place was absolutely packed out.

"We sold out of tickets before the evening, and even had people turn up on the night as well. It was a brilliant turnout.

“It rained a bit on a the night but that didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits and it was really great to see that no matter how hard times are people still dig deep and donate as much as they can for charity."

The boutique has been donating ten per cent of all sales of pink clothing and accessories to Breast Cancer Care throughout October, and is taking cash donations in store until Saturday evening (November 3).

To donate to the charity call into the boutique, in Northumberland Street, Darlington, before Saturday evening.
