BEER TIME: Darlington Snooker Club will host its Booze ‘n’ Cues Halloween beer festival from Thursday, November 1 until Sunday, November 4. About 20 beers and ciders from local microbreweries will be available, including ale from the newly-opened Sonnet 43 Brew House, in Coxhoe, Country Durham. WARD SURGERY: Councillors Anne-Marie Curry, Alan Macnab and Fred Lawton, ward members for North Road, will hold a ward surgery tomorrow (October 31) at Morrisons, in North Road, from 6pm to 7pm.
ALE MEETING: The next meeting of Darlington's Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) branch will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at the Quakerhouse, in Mechanics Yard, Darlington. The meeting will begin at 7.30pm.
