AN 18-YEAR-OLD driver has escaped injury after his car left the road and collided with a bollard in Darlington this afternoon (October 29).
The man's blue Peugeot mounted the kerb in McMullen Road around 4.15pm, damaging a bollard and wooden fence.
Police said the man was left shaken by the collision, but suffered no injuries.
The road is now fully open again.
