A DRUNK man caused £300 of damage to a parked car he decided to walk over on his way home.
Darlington Magistrates’ Court heard today (October 25) that Daniel Legge was returning to his Welbeck Avenue home after a drinking session when he walked over the top of a parked Toyota.
He caused £300 of damage to its bonnet and prosecutor Blair Martin said Legge told police that “drunken foolishness” was behind the act.
He pleaded guilty to criminal damage and was ordered to pay £300 compensation a £73 fine plus a £15 victim surcharge.
