Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and knife possession after door handles were tried on a North East street.
Two males, both aged 15, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, going equipped for theft, possession of class A drugs and possession of a knife or blade in a public place.
They were arrested after Cleveland Police received reports of suspects trying door handles in the early hours of Saturday (May 13) morning in Hardwick in Stockton.

The incidents, which took place in the Etherley Close area, were reported between 2am and 3am.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Two 15-year-old males have been arrested after reports of suspects trying door handles in the early hours of the morning in Hardwick in Stockton.
"The incidents were reported between 2am and 3am on Saturday 13th May, in the area of Etherley Close.
"The teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, going equipped for theft, possession of class A drugs and possession of a knife or blade in a public place."
The males have now been bailed while police continue their enquiries.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or doorbell footage around the time of the offences to see if they can assist their investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Lamb from Stockton CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 091360.
