Tourism chief stands down GILES Ingram is to leave his role as chief executive of Northumberland Tourism the body set up in 2006 to promote breaks in England’s northern-most and most sparsely populated county.
Mr Ingram, who leaves after six years in the post, is to pursue other avenues in the tourist trade. Recently appointed Northumberland Tourism chairman Kate Priestley, who takes up her role next month, will oversee interim management arrangements and put together a new board.
