STRIKE A POSE: Slash performing at the O2 Academy last night
LEGENDARY guitar hero Slash treated the crowd at Newcastle’s 02 Academy to a blistering show last night.
The former Guns N’ Roses star is playing his final UK tour date on a promotional world tour for his solo album Apocalyptic Love, which was released in May. The 13 songs feature the vocals of Myles Kennedy, who is touring alongside Slash with his band, Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators. Slash, unchanged since his Gun’s N’ Roses heyday in the late 1980s and early 1990s, treated fans to his no-nonsense guitar play, classic showmanship and trademark hard rock poses. The sell-out crowd were treated to tracks from Apocalyptic Love as well as classic Guns N’ Roses tunes, including Sweet Child O Mine and Paradise City.
