POLICE are investigating a serious incident in the Glebe Road area of Darlington.
Officers are at the scene carrying out inquiries in an effort to establish exactly what has happened.
A spokesman for Durham Police said he was unable at this stage to confirm rumours that somebody has been stabbed.
