Redcar played host to the finals of the UK Kitesurfing Championships over the weekend.
About 100 of the UK’s top professional kitesurfers took part in a three-day event with four British Power Kite championships including kitesurfing, kite land boarding and kite buggying competitions.
The event took place on the beach in front of Majuba Road, Redcar, a site famed for its large expanse of sand and consistent winds.
It is the fourth year in a row Redcar has played host to the some of the top kitesurfers in the UK.
