THREE people have been arrested in connection with the death of a couple killed in their home.
Stephen Seddon, also known as Nic, of Benevente Street, in Seaham , County Durham, faces trial in February for the murder of his parents Bob, 68, and Patricia Seddon, 65, in Sale, Greater Manchester.
They were found shot in their home on July 6.
The 46-year-old businessman has denied murder, as well as an alleged attempted murder relating to an incident in March.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said today they have arrested a 26-year-old Seaham man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
They are also questioning a 55-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, also from Seaham who have been arrested on suspicions of perverting the course of justice.
A GMP spokesman confirmed the three people are being held at police stations in County Durham.
