POLICE have issued an image of a man thought to be involved in two separate incidents in which he exposed himself to women and carried out an indecent act.
Both incidents took place in Darlington last weekend.
The first happened in Surtees Street early on Saturday morning, between 4am and 5am.
The second took place at Broken Scar car park and river bank area on Sunday, between 6.45pm and 8pm.
Detectives believe the two cases are linked, as the victims gave similar descriptions of the offenders in each case.
Officers say the man did not attempt to touch either of the victims but both were left shaken by the incident.
A police artist has been able to compile an image of the suspect.
He is described as white, aged between 30 and 50, of an athletic build about 6ft tall and he appeared physically fit.
He had a bald, possibly shaven head and no facial hair apart from fair coloured eyebrows.
On Sunday he was wearing a black long-sleeved zip-up top, black knee length shorts and black training shoes.
Witnesses are asked to call Darlington CID, on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555-111.
