POLICE are stepping up their hunt for a man who who has sexually assaulted several women on buses.
All three reported attacks, which are believed to have involved the same man, have happened on Monday afternoons this month – on November 7, 14 and 21 – in different towns and on different bus routes.
The latest incident happened when the man got on the number 63 bus at Middlesbrough Station. He spoke to a 16-year-old before groping her.
The girl got off the bus in Eston, the man stayed on, getting off in Redcar. He is also believed to have assaulted another victim while travelling between Linthorpe and Hemlington, in Middlesbrough, on the same day.
On November 14, a man carried out an assault on a bus service between Stockton and Stillington.
It is believed the same man kissed and groped a 16-yearold on November 7, at about 4pm on a bus between Norton and Hartlepool. He got off at Hartlepool Marina.
