NEWCASTLE United footballer Nile Ranger was fined £3,300 after admitting drink-driving today.
The 20-year-old striker was arrested at 4.45am on September 11 after he was pulled over in his personalised black and white Range Rover in Newcastle city centre.
Tests showed Ranger had 94 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The limit is 80 millilitres.
The London-born player, of Edwins Avenue South, Forest Hall, North Tyneside, arrived at court in a taxi, and wore a suit and trainers for the hearing.
