A MAN has died after the car he was driving collided with parked cars and a tree in the early hours of this morning.
Mohammed Latif, 46, from Middlesbrough, was taken to the town’s James Cook University Hospital where he died from serious head injuries.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said officers were appealing for witnesses to the incident on Park Vale Road in Middlesbrough when the Vauxhall Vectra Mr Latif was driving collided with parked cars and a tree at around 2.20am.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact PC Martin Tranmer of Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 01642-326326, quoting event number U206066.
