Zombies attack
THE GATES of hell opened in a Durham City shopping centre earlier this week - spewing forth dozens of zombies.
The city's Gates Shopping Centre was turned into a scene from the classic horror movie, Dawn of the Dead, as a groupo of enthusiasts put on a performance to give Durham shoppers a fright to remember for Halloween.
The stunt was part of an event dubbed The Zombiepalooza which also involved a free screening of George Romero's Dawn of the Dead, with drinks and popcorn within the zombie-infested Gates Shopping Centre.
