COUNTY DURHAM
Chester-le-Street: Saturday. Chester-le-Street Cricket Club, Ropery Lane, firework display from 6pm to 7.30pm. Entry £3 adults, £2 children.
CROOK: Tomorrow. St Cuthbert’s Centre, Church Hill. Bonfire and fireworks from 6pm. £1 adults, including free drink, 50p children, including sparkler and drink. Refreshments.
DURHAM: Saturday. Aykley Heads, Durham. Gates open 5pm, bonfire 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Entry £3, free for under-fives.
GAINFORD: Saturday, on the village green. Bonfire 7pm. Entry by donations.
HEIGHINGTON: Saturday. Village green. 5pm onwards.
Lanchester: Saturday, Lanchester Cricket Club. Bonfire 6.30pm with fireworks soon after. Hot food and drinks available. Parking at Lanchester Community Centre and village pubs. Entry: Donations to Lanchester Lions at the gate.
NEWTON AYCLIFFE: Saturday. Oak Leaf Leisure Centre, School Aycliffe Lane. Fireworks 7pm. Free entry.
SEDGEFIELD: Saturday. Ceddesfeld Hall, Rectory Row. Fireworks from 6.30pm. Tickets in advance are £2 for adults, £1 children. To book call 01740-621273. Tickets at the gate are £3 for adults and £1.50 children.

NORTH YORKSHIRE
Bedale: Saturday. Bedale Park, North End. 6pm, with fireworks from 6.45pm. Admission free, but there will be a collection, with proceeds towards next year’s event.
NORTHALLERTON: Saturday. At the Applegarth, off the High Street. Event starts at 6.30pm, with fireworks at 7pm and bonfire lit at 7.30pm. Admission free.
HARROGATE: Saturday. The Stray. Build-up starts from 6pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7.15pm. Admission free, donations will be collected for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
LEYBURN: Tomorrow. Shaw Playing Fields. Bonfire 6.30pm, fireworks 7pm. Entry by donation to next year’s event.
KNAYTON: Saturday. Hillside Rural Activities Park, Knayton, near Thirsk. 6pm. Licensed bar, soup, hot dogs and cakes. Adults £4, children £1.
NORTON: Saturday. Brooklyn Youth Centre. Bonfire 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults, £4 for children, underfours free.
Richmond: Saturday. Richmond Castle. 7pm. Tickets £3, under-fives free, from Richmond tourist information centre. Call 01748- 828742.
Ripon: Tomorrow. Ripon Racecourse. Gates 6pm, bonfire lit 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Tickets are available from various shops in Ripon, or at the gate – £5 for adults, £3 for children.
THIRSK: Saturday. Newsham Road. Bonfire 6.30pm, fireworks 7pm. Entry adults £4, children under 14 free, family ticket £8.
YORK: Saturday. The Global Centre, in Boroughbridge Road. Gates open 6pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Entry adults £5, children £2, parking £2.
TEESSIDE
Hartlepool: Saturday. Seaton Carew seafront. Children’s rides and entertainment from 4pm. Fireworks 6.30pm. Entry free. Park-and-ride from Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience.
SKINNINGROVE: Saturday. On beach. Entertainment from 6.30pm. Fireworks 7pm. Entry free.
STOCKTON: Saturday. Riverside Road. Fireworks 8pm. Fairground and radio roadshow from 6pm. Entry free.
TYNESIDE AND WEARSIDE
GATESHEAD: Saturday. Saltwell Park. Bonfire lit at 7pm with fireworks display from 7.30pm. Hot food and drinks available. Free entry.
HETTON: Saturday. Hetton Lyons Cricket Club, Lilywhite Terrace, Easington Lane. Gates open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Admission is £3 for adults and £2 for children.
NEWCASTLE: Saturday. City Stadium, off Warwick Street, Ouseburn. Fireworks from 6.30pm. Food on sale at Ouseburn Community Centre. Free entry.
SUNDERLAND: Saturday. Ashbrooke Sports Club, West Lawn, Sunderland. Gates open at 6pm and display at 7.30pm. Admission is £6.
WASHINGTON: Saturday. Bowes Railway Museum, Springwell Village. Gates open 6pm. Entry £2 for adults, £1 for concessions.
