TWO teenagers have been arrested after a farmer needed hospital treatment after being kicked in the head.
Eric Miller, 54 was attacked last Wednesday evening after he confronted three trespassers he found with lurcher dogs on his farm near Neasham Village.
Mr Miller, who had been sitting down for a meal with his family when he heard noises in the yard, needed hospital treatment after being kicked in the head and chest when he asked the intruders to control their dogs.
Following a tip-off, police arrested two teenagers, aged 16 and 17 on suspicion of assault. The pair, who are from the Skerne Park area of Darlington have been interviewed and released on police bail till mid-November.
