THIRTEEN women got a good helping of fresh countryside air when they bared all for a charity calendar.

The group of brave models from North Yorkshire and Teesdale, in County Durham, stripped off in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Pictured in rural settings with only careful camera angles and a few props to protect their modesty, the volunteers were happy to support organiser Sarah Yarrow’s fundraising campaign.

The primary school teacher, originally from Gayles and now living in Dalton, near Richmond, had persuaded a group of men to undress for the Classic Countryside Boys 2010 calendar in aid of the same charity.

The pictures of them posing with vintage tractors proved a big hit and boosted Miss Yarrow’s cash crusade. It has so far raised £20,000 towards gene therapy and hospital equipment for children with cystic fibrosis.

She knew she had to keep her side of the bargain, and appears as Miss August in Classic Countryside Girls 2012.

Four of the models’ partners appeared in the male version and other volunteers include Army wives from Catterick Garrison, farmers and a school cook.

Miss Yarrow said: “It may have taken a while, but I promised if the boys did it I would create a calendar of ladies and we’re pleased with the end result.

“The trust is a charity very close to my heart and I’m so grateful to all the brave models, RightClickStudios for the photography, and MWA for designing and printing the calendar.

“We have 1,000 copies and aim to sell them all.”

Calendars are priced £10 and are on sale in shops and businesses around Barnard Castle and Richmond, including Ravensworth Nurseries, AWSM Farms, Thorpe Farm and Edinburgh Woollen Mill, in Richmond.

They can also be bought from any of the models, online at ClassicCountryside.co.uk or call 07921-994365. Postage and packaging is extra.
