POLICE investigating the death of a teenager at the weekend are reminding people about the risks of illegal drug use.
Gareth Gordon Forster, 18, from Ferryhill, County Durham, was taken to the University Hospital of North Durham in the early hours of Sunday morning where he later died.
A post mortem examination failed to establish a cause of death and the results of toxicology tests are awaited.
However, there are indications that he may have had access to ecstasy and this may be linked to his death.
