A MAN has died and a woman left seriously injured after their car left the road and rolled onto a field.
Their white Citroen Saxo was travelling on the B6217 near Northallerton, North Yorkshire, when it failed to negotiate a left hand bend at about 5.18pm yesterday (Saturday, October 15) as it approached a junction at Richmond Road.
The vehicle lost control and ended up leaving the road.
Tghe 32-year-old man died instantly at the scene and an 18-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries.
The injured woman had to be airlifted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough by the Great North Air Ambulance.
