FOUR people were taken to hospital tonight after a car crash in Barnard Castle, County Durham.
The two-car accident happened in Coal Road at around 7.30pm.
The male driver of a Rover car had to be cut free from the wreckage, while two men and one woman who were in a VW Bora managed to free themselves.
All four were also taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital for treatment.
