A WOMAN fell to her death from the third floor of a flat as police arrived to try and help her.
At 6.35pm on Friday police were called to a report of a dispute at an address in the Moorings, St Peters Basin, Newcastle.
“On police arrival they found a woman had climbed over the balcony of a third floor flat and was holding on to the wrong side of the railings,” a spokesman for Northumbria Police said.
“The woman then fell from the balcony onto the pavement below.
“Paramedics attended but the 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.“ A report has been prepared for the coroner.
