CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a 28-year-old County Durham man who went missing in the Blackpool area six days ago.
Jonathan Hall, from Bishop Auckland, had been staying with friends in the seaside resort for three weeks and was last seen at about 2.30pm on Saturday, June 19 near Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
It is believed that Mr Hall has no money with him and no means to return home.
PC Sarah Bradley, from Bishop Auckland police, said: "We believe Jonathan has a mobile phone, but the battery may have run out and he has no way of charging it.
"Jonathan's family are obviously extremely concerned for his welfare as this is out of character and we are hoping if he hears or sees this appeal he will contact someone as soon as possible."
Jonathan is described as white, 6'2", large build, fair hair which is receding with a red spotty complexion.
Anyone who might have seen Mr Hall since June 19 should call the police on 0345-6060-365.
