A MAN has died after the camper van he was repairing collapsed on him.
The 72-year-old man, who has not yet been named, became trapped on the site of SJS Motors, in Cromwell Street, Hartlepool, at about 11.15am this morning.
It is believed the man had asked to use the land to repair his vehicle but was not an employee.
Ambulance paramedics and a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulance were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cleveland Police is not treating the incident as suspicious.
