FIRE fighters spent three hours tackling a blaze in a Darlington warehouse this evening.
The fire broke out in a unit on Yarm Road Industrial Estate just before 5.30pm.
Fire crews from Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland and Durham all attended the warehouse, which was about 30m by 30m.
It is not yet known what was inside the warehouse or how the fire started.
The blaze was brought under control at about 8.45pm with the help of two aerial ladder platforms.
