Gothika’s Tattoo in Redcar will be holding a Help 4 Heroes charity day to help the charity reach its £100m goal.

The charity Help for Heroes has raised nearly £100m from public donations - just three-and-a-half years after it was formed.

And to help reach its target, Gothika’s dual award winning Tattooist Tini and their two other tattooists Jack and Wendy will be offering their services all day on Sunday 12th June 10am-4pm for free with every penny from the tattoo event going to the Help 4 Heroes fund. There will be three tattoo designs on offer including Dog Tags with the Help 4 Heroes logo plus Dog Tags in the shape of two Hearts for the ladies and finally, and the Help 4 Heroes Ribbon with all three tattoos individually priced at only £25.

If anyone requires one of the Help 4 Heroes tattoo’s but is unable to get in on Sunday 12th June - providing it is one of the tattoos offered on the day, Billy Yull, proprietor of Gothika Tattoo’s will personally donate 10% of the tattoo to the charity for the remainder of the year.

Should you wish to pre-book them please contact the receptionist and Gothika’s Help 4 Heroes organiser Spike and she will be more than happy to accommodate as many as possible for a worthy charity.

Help for Heroes was founded in October 2007 by Bryn and Emma Parry after they visited the Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham and met young patients.

Their original aim was to raise £8m to build a new rehabilitation complex at Headley Court - the hospital that treats injured servicemen and women.

The couple both come from military families, and Mr Parry served for ten years in the Royal Green Jackets, now The Rifles, before leaving the Army in 1985.

Since the charity was founded, almost £90m has been spent on various projects. Five personal recovery centres are currently being built for wounded service personnel across the UK with money raised by Help for Heroes.

The charity's patrons include Jeremy Clarkson, Ross Kemp and Sir Ian Botham. Princes William and Harry - who are both serving in the military - have been seen wearing the charity's plastic wristbands.
