TWO boys and a girl were injured after a bouncy castle came loose from its tether, police said.
The accident happened at the White House hotel, in Whitby, North Yorkshire, at 2.40pm on Sunday afternoon, although details were only released late into the evening.
Two boys, aged seven and nine, and a girl aged seven, who are all from the Whitby area, were injured.
The seven year old boy was airlifted to James Cook Hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The girl was taken by road ambulance with head injuries - believed to be concussion. Again, her injuries are not thought life threatening.
The nine year old boy was also taken to Scarborough District Hospital with a broken bone in his leg.
All three were said to be stable tonight.
The bouncy castle was recovered with the help of officers from the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Police said they were no longer involved in the matter and an investigation into the circumstances would be conducted by officers from the Environmental Health Department at Scarborough Borough Council.
