A DOG show is to see pet owners battle it out to win the title at an animal charity’s fun event.
Philippa Thomson, of ITV’s North East Tonight show, is to be the guest of honour at the Stray Aid charity event.
She will open the show at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, before joining in the fun with her own dogs.
There will be plenty of activities including dog displays and games for youngsters plus people living in County Durham can have pets microchipped for free.
The event starts at 11am on Sunday, May 22 with entries for the dog show classes opening at 10am.
Entry is £1 per adult, 50p for children and concessions and there is an extra £1 fee charged per class for entry into the dog show.
