THIS morning's Memories has a bit on shed plates - it's a railway thing. I can't make out the shed plate on the G5 picture which has featured in the column a couple of times now, but I clearly made a mistake when I said Darlington was shed number 51F. It was 51A and West Auckland was 51F.
"Although the West Auckland shed was not acutally in West Auckland," says B Watson for Bishop Auckland. "It was situated roughly where Hathaways Roofing Factory is now in Tindale Crescent."
