MARGARET GRAINGER is looking for descendants, details or certificates of family members.
They include looking for birth and death certificates of Ada May Alderson, who was born in Lanchester or Crook, County Durham, in 1910. She was on the 1911 census with her mother, Sarah Jane Alderson at the home of her grandparents, Henry and Mary Ann Brankston or Branston, in West Terrace, Billy Row, Crook. Her father was Thomas William Alderson, born in Stanley Colliery in 1888. He was on the 1911 census at the home of his parents William and Mary in Bowden Yard, Willington, Durham.
She is looking for the Thomas' death certificate. He died between 1911 and 1918. His widow remarried in 1918 to Joseph Thurlby.
Sarah Jane and Mr Thurlby had two children, Rachel and John (known as Jack) born in Crook.
