UNASSUMING students milling about in a college reception staged a spontaneous performance of hits from West End musicals.
The choreographed “flash mob” at Middlesbrough College was the finale in a three-day masterclass taught by internationally acclaimed opera singer, Graeme Danby.
The 20-minute song and dance routine involved 65 performing arts students.
The masterclass began on Monday with Mr Danby and his team on Monday as part of their national diploma.
The North-East born opera singer was principal bass with English National Opera for a number of years and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
